“Clickers” are handheld personal response systems for communication and interaction in larger classes and gatherings. Some other names for them include audience response system, interactive response system, student performance system, classroom communication system. Pomona currently uses iClicker devices.
Access and Support
Pomona ITS typically lends out a set of iClickers to equip a full class for a semester. The rolling case we lend out contains 1 instructor iClicker, an instructor base station, the software, and the necessary quantity of student iClickers. We have a finite number of clickers on campus but so far we have been able to equip anyone who requests them.
If you have any questions or would like assistance, please contact the Educational Technology Group.
